impact of surrounding on personality

Everything had an impact on our personality. Its sometimes visible in one person and sometimes not in others. The mishaps and accidents which occurred in our lifes leave some scars on our personality. Its our choice to make them visible in an ugly manner or hide it with a smile, like nothing happened.
I always forced myself to think everything positively and the above lines always echoed in my ears, as it was said by someone who was dear to me. But gradually as time passed i realized that sooner or later the impact of the surrounding becomes visible on your personality. May be you act like a strong person in front of the world but the bitterness of your personality is visible to the people who are close to you. Or you are tough and arrogant in front of the world but nice and sweet to the people close to you.
Both the changes in your personality are actually the result of things which happened in your life. Either it makes you strong from inside or crush your self-confidence and makes you weak. And the end result would be that you suffer the rest of your life...
How to cope up with this is a big question. Lets see what we can do together to find a solution to this problem.
  • Extarct the lesson from every experience of your life, either its bitter or sweeter.
  • Try not to repeat those mistakes again.
  • Fight with any mishappening of your life like a soldier.
  • Make a sheild between you and the world so that nobody can find the weak point in you.
  • Learn from others mistakes.
These are some points which i will follow to overcome my problems, what will you do?

  1. All mental health issues are stigmatised by society and can lead to discrimination, but personality disorder is perhaps one of the most misunderstood and feared diagnoses. There are strong links in the media and the public imagination between all types of personality disorder and dangerous, criminal behaviour. Many people do not know about the different types of personality disorder and make the totally incorrect assumption that anyone given a diagnosis of personality disorder must be a dangerous threat.

  2. Many of us know someone with a personality disorder. They may have great difficulty controlling their impulses and emotions, and often have distorted perceptions of themselves and others. As a result, these individuals may suffer enormous pain and have significant difficulty functioning at home, work, and in relationships

  4. Anxiety and depression are the most common mental health problems. Often these are a reaction to a difficult life event

  5. The attitudes people have towards those of us with mental health problems mean it is harder for them to work, make friends and in short, live a normal life.

    People become isolated
They are excluded from everyday activities
It is harder to get or keep a job
People can be reluctant to seek help, which makes recovery slower and more difficult
    Their physical health is affected.
